Terms of Service

Our services

We are a mobile locksmith in the Atlanta, Georgia area. We come to your location for spare car keys, lost car key replacement, car key programming, car and home lockouts, lock rekeying, and lock replacement for homes and businesses. We work only at your location: we do not have a shop or office that customers visit.

Not every vehicle, key or lock can be serviced. We check your details before we confirm a quote, and we may decline a request.

Service area and special service

Our standard service area is up to 45 straight-line miles from the center of ZIP code 30303 in downtown Atlanta. An address inside that distance is not automatically covered: we confirm that we can serve your exact address before we schedule a visit.

Farther out, we may offer a special service. We send a technician for a special service only after all of these steps:

• We confirm that a technician is available and send you a complete quote.
• You accept the quote.
• You pay 100% of the quoted total in advance, and we confirm that we received the payment.

We do not charge you automatically. We may decline any request outside our standard service area.

Quotes and prices

A price or price range shown by our quote form, or given before our office confirms it, is not final. A quote is final only when our office confirms it with you. A confirmed quote lists the travel, labor, parts and taxes it covers.

For standard service, each visit has a travel fee of $30. It is shown as its own line on your quote and applies even when we do the work at that visit.

We confirm the price with you before any work begins. If the job on site is different from what was described (for example a different vehicle, key, lock or number of locks), we will tell you the new price before doing the extra work, and you may decline it. If you decline it, you pay only the travel fee for that visit.

A confirmed quote is valid for 7 calendar days from the day we send it to you.

Appointments and arrival times

The time you choose in the form, including "As soon as possible", is a request. A visit is scheduled only when our office confirms a date and time with you.

Arrival times are estimates. Traffic, weather, earlier jobs and other things outside our control can cause delays, and we cannot promise an arrival time.

Our business hours are Sunday to Thursday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM Eastern Time. We are closed on Friday and Saturday. You can send a request through our quote form at any time, and we follow up on requests during business hours.

You can cancel at no charge before we dispatch a technician. If you cancel after the technician has been dispatched, a cancellation fee of $30 applies. We never charge both the travel fee and the cancellation fee for the same visit. You can reschedule at no charge before we dispatch a technician. A change after dispatch counts as a cancellation, so the $30 cancellation fee applies.

Your authorization

Ask us to work only on a vehicle, lock or property that you own or are authorized to have serviced, for example as a tenant, or for the business you work for with its permission. You must be at least 18 years old to request service.

You may be asked for proof of identity and of ownership or authorization, such as a photo ID and the vehicle's registration or title, a lease or a utility bill, before or during the work. We may decline or stop the work if you cannot show it. If we stop the work for this reason, you pay only the travel fee for that visit.

Some landlords, homeowners' associations and businesses require their own locksmith. Checking that is your responsibility.

Giving false information to get into a vehicle or property is not allowed, and we may report it to the police.

Payment

Our website does not take payments. Payment is due when the work is finished, before the technician leaves. We accept cash, credit cards, Zelle, Cash App and Venmo.

A payment counts once we confirm that we received it.

Never send card numbers by text message, by email or in the quote form.

If you paid in advance and you cancel, we refund your payment minus the cancellation fee, if one applies under "Appointments and arrival times" (the $30 fee applies only after the technician has been dispatched), subject to applicable law. If we cancel or cannot do the work, we refund any advance payment in full.

Workmanship warranty

For 90 days after we finish a job, if we verify a defect in our workmanship, we correct it at no additional charge.

Parts are covered by their manufacturer's warranty, where one is available.

This does not cover misuse, accidents, normal wear, work by others or parts you supplied. To make a claim, call (770) 380-2375 or email spotonlocksmith247@gmail.com with your reference code.

Text messages

Spot On Locksmith sends text messages about your request, such as your address, your quote and your visit, to the mobile number you gave us, if you agreed to be contacted about your request. If you also checked the optional box for offers, we may send you marketing text messages.

• Consent to marketing text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
• Message frequency varies.
• Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP at any time to opt out. Reply HELP for help, or call (770) 380-2375.
• Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
• We do not share mobile phone numbers or text-message opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing.

Only give us a mobile number that is yours or that you are allowed to use.

Using our pages

Use our pages and quote form only to ask about our services for yourself or for someone who authorized you. Do not send false information, another person's phone number without their permission, or anything harmful.

We may limit or refuse requests, for example when too many come from one connection.

The text and design of our pages belong to Spot On Locksmith LLC.

Limitation of liability

This limit does not apply to harm caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost income or loss of use.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that the law does not allow us to limit.

Some methods can damage a lock, door or vehicle part. We tell you before using a method that may cause damage and go ahead only with your OK. If we damage something by our own mistake, contact us and we will work with you to make it right.

Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia.

If you have a problem with our work, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it.

Any dispute will be decided by the courts of DeKalb County, Georgia. Either of us may bring a claim in magistrate (small claims) court if it qualifies.

If the English and Spanish versions of these Terms differ, the English version controls.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version on this page with its effective date. A quote you already accepted stays under the Terms in effect when you accepted it.
