Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 25, 2026 · Version 2026-10-25
This Privacy Policy explains how Spot On Locksmith LLC, doing business as Spot On Locksmith ("Spot On Locksmith", "we", "us"), collects, uses and shares personal information when you visit our campaign pages at get.spotonlocksmith247.com, send a request through our quote form, call or text us, or have us work on your vehicle, home or business.
Please also read our Terms of Service, which apply to our quotes and services.
Who we are
Spot On Locksmith is a mobile locksmith serving the Atlanta, Georgia area. We come to your location for car keys, lockouts and lock work for homes and businesses.
Business name and address: Spot On Locksmith LLC, 1135 Aurora Ct, Dunwoody, GA 30338 (mailing address only: we do not serve customers at this address). Phone: (770) 380-2375. Privacy questions: spotonlocksmith247@gmail.com.
This policy covers the pages named above and the information we handle in our own systems. It does not cover our separate website at spotonlocksmith247.com.
Information we collect
Information you give us in the quote form:
- Your name and mobile phone number, and your email address if you choose to give it.
- The ZIP code of the place where you need service.
- Details about the job. For a vehicle: the year, make, model and trim, the type of key, whether you have a working key and how many keys you need. For a home or business: the type of property, the type of lock, how many locks, whether you have a working key and whether the locks are part of a master key system.
- Photos of your lock, if you add them.
- When you would like us to come: as soon as possible, or a date and time you prefer.
- Any notes you write.
- Your answers to the two checkboxes: the required one agreeing that we may contact you about your request, and the optional one for marketing text messages.
Information we record while we work on your request:
- The exact service address you confirm with us, its map location (latitude and longitude) and its straight-line distance from the center of ZIP code 30303, which tells us whether it is in our standard service area.
- How you confirmed details with us (for example by phone or text message), the quotes we prepare and whether you accepted them.
- Appointments, the technician assigned, and notes about the visit and the work done.
- Payments: the amount, the payment method and a reference such as a receipt number, a bank confirmation, a check number or a processor transaction number. Our system refuses card numbers in payment records. Please never send card numbers in the quote form or by text message.
- Which of our staff made each change, and when.
If you call or text us, we may record your phone number, your name and what you need in the same system. We do not record phone calls.
If you are asked to show a photo ID or proof that you own or are authorized to service the vehicle or property, our technician only looks at it on site; we do not copy, photograph or keep it.
Information collected automatically:
- If you arrive from an ad or a link with campaign details, we keep those details: the campaign tags in the link (such as utm_source and utm_campaign), the campaign, ad set and ad identifiers, a city or ZIP code named in the ad link, and the click identifier an ad platform adds to the link (fbclid for Facebook and Instagram, gclid for Google, ttclid for TikTok).
- The page you first landed on and the address of the page that sent you to us (the referrer).
- A random identifier for your browser, created by our page.
- These details are kept in your browser (see "Browser storage and cookies"), and we store them only when you send a quote request.
- To protect the form from abuse, we keep a one-way code made from your IP address and the date, not the IP address itself, to limit how many requests can come from one connection.
- Like any website, our hosting and database providers receive your IP address and basic information about your browser when your device connects, and may keep them in their logs.
We do not ask for your Social Security number, your date of birth or card numbers on our website.
How we use information
- To answer your request: check whether we serve your address, prepare and confirm a quote, schedule a visit and do the work.
- To contact you about your request by phone, text message or email.
- To check that you are authorized to have the vehicle, lock or property serviced.
- To keep records of quotes, visits, work done and payments, for accounting and taxes and to answer questions or claims.
- To understand which ads and pages bring requests and how many become jobs, so we can decide where to advertise.
- To protect our form and our customers from spam, fraud and abuse.
- To send you marketing text messages, only if you agreed to them separately.
- To comply with the law and respond to lawful requests.
We do not use WhatsApp to message customers today. If we start, we will update this policy.
Text messages
Service messages. If you check the box agreeing that we may contact you about your request, we may call or text the mobile number you gave us about that request, for example to confirm your address, send your quote, or schedule or update a visit. Our staff send these messages from (770) 380-2375.
Marketing messages. We send offers by text message only if you also check the separate, optional box for them. That box is not checked for you. Consent to marketing text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
- Message frequency varies.
- Message and data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving text messages from us. Reply HELP for help, or call (770) 380-2375.
- Carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
We do not sell or share mobile phone numbers or text-message opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
If you reply STOP, we record that you opted out and stop sending you text messages, including messages about an open request; we may send one message confirming that you opted out. You can still call us.
Browser storage and cookies
Our page code does not set cookies, and our pages do not load advertising pixels or analytics tools today. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set a cookie needed for security. It is not used for advertising or tracking.
Our pages store a few items in your browser's local storage: the campaign details of your first and your most recent visit from an ad or link, and the random browser identifier described above. The first-visit details are replaced after 30 days. These items stay in your browser until you clear your browser's data for our site, and clearing them does not stop you from using the quote form.
If we add analytics or advertising tools, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where the law requires.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information only as long as we need it for the reasons in this policy, then delete it or remove the details that identify you. Each period starts from the event shown:
- Requests that did not lead to a job (contact details, request details and service address): 24 months after your last request.
- Lock photos: 90 days after your request is closed.
- Records of jobs we did (quotes, visits, service address, work done and payments): 7 years after the job, for taxes, accounting and possible claims.
- Ad and visit details: 13 months after your visit.
- Records of your consent and of any opt-out: 4 years after you opt out or stop being a customer, so we can show that we respected your choices.
- Form abuse codes: 7 days.
- Records of staff actions: 7 years.
Copies in our providers' backups may last up to 7 days after we delete information.
When the law requires us to keep something longer, for example during a dispute, we keep it until that need ends.
How we protect information
- Our pages and our database use encrypted connections (HTTPS).
- Our website cannot read customer records: requests go through a server function, and only our signed-in staff can see them.
- Staff sign in with a password and a second step from an authenticator app, and each role sees only what it needs.
- Lock photos are kept in private storage, not at public web addresses.
- Our system records which staff member makes each change.
No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise that information will never be lost or misused. If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you as the law requires.
Your choices and requests
- Text messages: reply STOP to stop them, or tell us by phone or email.
- Marketing text messages: you can stop them at any time in the same way. We do not send marketing text messages today. Opting out stops all text messages from us.
- Access and correction: you can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.
- Deletion: you can ask us to delete your personal information. We will delete what we can. We may keep some records when we need them, for example payment and job records for taxes and accounting, or a record that you asked us not to text you, and we will use them only for that reason.
To make a request, email spotonlocksmith247@gmail.com or call (770) 380-2375. We may need to confirm your identity first, for example by contacting you at the phone number we have on file. We will answer within 45 days.
We will not treat you differently because you made a request.
If the law where you live gives you additional privacy rights, contact us and we will honor them as that law requires.
Children
Our pages and services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. We will post the new version on this page with its effective date.
